Course content
Lectures: 1. The introduction to the problematics, definition of the games, the benefits of non-traditional sport games. 2. Ringo. The technique of throwing and catching the ring. Rules, decision-making. Playing with one and with two rings. 3. Frisbee. The technique of manipulation with the disc, racing disciplines and games. Ultimate Frisbee - rules, decision-making, game. 4. Lacrosse. The technique of manipulation with the ball (throwing and catching, picking of the ball, player's movement with the ball). Rules, game. 5. Footvolley. Game activities of an individual, rules, game of couples and triads. 6. Fistball. Game skills, rules, game. 7. Kin-Ball. Basic game skills. Rules - decision-making, game. 8. Holomajzna. Rules, decision-making, game. 9. Tchoukball. Game skills, rules, game. 10. Contactless ragby. The scheme of game movement, rules, game. 11. Bränball. Rules, game. 12. KanJam. Game skills, rules, game. 13. Quidditch. Game skills, rules, game. 14. The final tournament.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Observation, Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The lessons are focused on the introduction to the rules, technique and methodology of less frequent sport games practice.
Students received special competences as per curriculum of accredited specialisation.
Prerequisites
Elementary movement skills corresponding to the age characteristics of the student.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Active participation in exercises, attendance min. 80%. A sample output of students on the topic of a given non-traditional sports game on a predetermined date. Submission of preparation for exit.
