Course content
The course mediates the acquaintance of students with the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired so far. The purpose of professional practice is an independent activity with a given age category of individuals in the field of sports and leisure activities with a focus on a healthy lifestyle and support for an active lifestyle. The course is implemented through the practical activities of the student at the selected workplace and in the natural conditions of institutions providing sports and leisure activities for a given age category. Students get acquainted with the reality of work environment, acquire practical skills and identify with the profession of sports and leisure specialist. At the same time, they apply into practice the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills acquired through studies. The final portfolio contains the professional biography of a student, documentation of all professional practices, their evaluation, related photographies, educational certificates and other formal requisites specified in the document called The Basic Information Concerning the Professional Practice. For the creation of the portfolio and the provision of feedback by the subject guarantor, it is possible to use the option of consultation.

Learning outcomes
Aim 1: The aim of the professional practice is co-participation in organization of sport events in the scope of healthy lifestyle and the support of active lifestyle. The events are covered by KTV FP TUL (courses, sport competitions, projects of KTV, academic sport centre etc.). The form of the practice is an organizational activity at the assigned events. Aim 2: The aim is the continuous participation of a student to the procedure of an organization related to the problematics of sport, leisure activities, healthy lifestyle and the support of active lifestyle. The institutions prove a wide spectrum of activities that will provide students with deeper understanding of the problematics (sport clubs, children and youth centres, sport authorities of municipal government and regions, travel agencies, school clubs, leisure organizations, retirement homes etc.). This part of the practice is possible to realize in an organization of one's own choice after the consultation with the subject guarantor.
Students received special competences as per curriculum of accredited specialisation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Course credit requirements: To prepare and consult selected professional practice, submit The Form for Announcement of Carrying Out a Practice, announce, attend and evaluate the professional practice. One component is the obligation to submit the concluding report and evaluation of a student's activity written by an answerable person. The condition of receiving a credit is the submission of a final portfolio that contains the professional biography of the student, documentation of all professional practices that the student has carried out and other formal requisites specified in the document called The Basic Information Concerning Professional Practice. Professional practice has to be approved by the subject guarantor. The assignment of the practice is presented at the Introductory Training Course.
