Course content
1. Characteristics and historical roots of the so-called outdoor programs. 2. Orientation in basic terms related to "outdoor" programs. 3. Basic sources of information (magazines, books, conference proceedings, databases, Internet addresses, corporate literature). 4. Area of outdoor activities and typology of outdoor programs. 5. Kurt Hahn, initiator of educational applications of outdoor activities. 6. Outward Bound movement and its role in the development of outdoor programs. 7. New trends in outdoor programs abroad and in our country. 8. Management of outdoor programs and criteria for their success. Training of experts. Creating the so-called "outdoor industry". 9. Principles for creating "outdoor programs". 10. Characteristics and evaluation of selected outdoor programs. Students' own survey.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Group consultation, Lecture, Practicum

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issues of outdoor programs.
The student is able to understand physical recreation as a means of physical cultivation and a means of effective use of free time with a positive impact on lifestyle.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite for admission to the exam is a written elaboration and presentation of the project. The exam will be in written form.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Written assignment

Active participation in classes, min. 80% participation. A prerequisite for admission to the exam is the written preparation, submission and presentation of the project by the specified date. The project must meet the specified criteria.
