Course content
methodology of basic swimming acquiring techniques of three swimming styles (breaststroke, crawl, backstroke) methodology of rescue techniques

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 14 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is focused on acquiring techniques of three swimming styles (breaststroke, crawl, backstroke), methodology and rescue techniques.
Student will be able to perform swimming discipline technical well. Student is able to provide assisted depleted swimmers.
Prerequisites
The student is a swimmer.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Didactic test

Active participation in exercises (80%). Completion of the swimming test - after the fall, follow up by swimming backwards and continuously swim 200 m in the selected swimming method, using the technique presented in the lesson in the time limit of 6:00 for men and 6:30 for women.
