Course content
|
1. Basic terms. Characteristics, history, taxonomy of the content and basic classification of combat sports. Organization of exercise. 2. Basic skilfulness, the elements of self-defence movements. Preparatory combat sports, combat-sport games. Tactics of self-defence. 3. Grasps, grasp-breaks. 4. Strangling, protection against strangling. 5. Crowbars, protection against crowbars. 6. Punches/kicks, protection against punches/kicks. 7. Fighting in a standing position, fighting on the ground. 8. Protection against an armed aggressor (pistol, knife, can). 9. Overthrows, knockovers and pulldowns. 10. Sensitive points on a human body. 11. Protection against simultaneous attack of more aggressors, help for the assaulted. 12. Selected elements of professional self-defence. 13. Selected elements of professional self-defence. 14. The fulfilment of credit requirements.

Learning outcomes
|
The lessons are focused on the acquisition of selected combat-sport motoric skills that increase the likelihood of successful self-defence. The component is the acquisition of falling technique and the basics of judo, aikido and karatedo.
Students will acquire mastery of physical skills, martial arts sports.

Motor abilities focused on the age of students.

|
Student's performance analysis
Course credit requirements: Active participation at the seminars (attendance at least 75 %), demonstration of selected motoric skills.
