Course content
Exercises: 1. Introduction to batting games (division, rules, history, etc.). 2. Batting games - basic skills training. 3. Modified batting games - Brännball. 4. Modified batting games - T-ball. 5. Softball - defensive game activities of an individual. 6. Softball - offensive game activities of an individual 7. Softball - basic skills training, game. 8. Softball - basic skills training, game. 9. Softball - basic skills training, game. 10. Softball - basic skills training, knowledge of rules, decision making, game. 11. Softball - basic skills training, knowledge of rules, decision making, game. 12. Softball - basic skills training, knowledge of rules, decision making, game. 13. Softball - basic skills training, knowledge of rules, decision making, game. 14. Credit hour.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Class attendance - 8 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The lessons are focused on acquiring basic skills of a sport game softball, mastering particular skills defense and aggressive, acquainting with the tactic of the game in both defense and attack. The students will acquire basic softball rules so they will be able to judge a match by themselves.
Student will be able to correct technical performance of games skills. Student acquires professional competencies for the realization and decision in games.
Prerequisites
Mastering of secondary physical education curriculum. Basic motor skills appropriate age characteristics of student.
