Course content
1. Characteristics, origin, development of volleyball, history in the Czech Republic, achievements of Czech teams. 2. Volleyball rules, specifics of volleyball rules in school physical education. 3. Division of game activities of an individual (defensive, offensive) and game combinations (offensive, defensive). 4. HČJ training - submission, exercises, elimination of essential deficiencies, drafts of preparation exercises. 5. HČJ training - two-handed overhead kick - recording, practice, elimination of the basics shortcomings, suggestions, etc., exercises. 6. HČJ training - two-handed hitting from below - pass, practice, elimination of fundamental shortcomings, proposals for exercises. 7. Training of HČJ - smashing - exercise, elimination of essential deficiencies, suggestions of prop. Exercises. 8. Training of HČJ - blocking - exercises, elimination of essential deficiencies, suggestions of prop. Exercises. 9. Preparatory games for volleyball in school physical education. 10. Game systems - every middle plays, the game in TJ, and decision making. 11. Game systems - with two recorders, game in TJ, decision making. 12. Game combinations (defensive, offensive) 13. Fulfillment of credit requirements, practical skills 14. Fulfillment of credit requirements, written test.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to explain the students the theory of volleyball, the rules and practical activities of the player as well as the game combinations and systems of volleyball.
The student will be able to teach sports games (volleyball) according to the correct methodical procedure. He will also be able to organize a volleyball tournament, including its decision-making.
Prerequisites
Elementary movement skills - adequate to the students age class.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test
