Course content
1. Introduction to the subject, athletic warm-up. 2. Development of acceleration, low start training methodology. 3. Running alphabet, relay pass through the lower arc. 4. Development of speed, rebound preparation. 5. Development of endurance - game method, field run. 6. Athletic rules I. - general rules, rules of competitions on the track. 7. Athletic rules II. - competitions in the field, all-around, walking. 8. Technique and methodology of training the long jump in a crouching manner, jumps from a short run. 9. General throwing exercises (throwing complex), technique and methodology of ball throwing - basic methodological series. 10. Distance - rhythmicization of the run, jumps from a full run, ball - throws from a short run. 11. Repeat lesson - running alphabet, low start, long jump. 12. Repeat lesson - relay pass, ball throw. 13. Fulfillment of credit requirements - test on rules, demonstration of technique: running alphabet, low start, run for 12 min. 14. Fulfillment of credit requirements - examples of technique: long jump, ball throw, relay pass.

Learning outcomes
Students will get to know the basic athletic disciplines, learn the basic technique and become familiar with the training methodology. At the same time, it develops movement skills through athletic means. They will also learn the basic rules of athletics related to the organization and decision-making of competitions.
The student will be able to demonstrate the correct technique of athletic disciplines, he will be able to make decisions in secondary functions at basic level competitions.
Prerequisites
Basic movement skills corresponding to the applicant's age characteristics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Written assignment

Credit requirements: obtaining min. 70 b. from credit requirements - demonstration of the technique of basic athletic skills (max. 50 p. = 5 x 10 p.) - running alphabet, low start, long jump (short jump), ball throw from a short run, relay pass, verification of the required level of movement skills, - verification of the level of aerobic fitness: running for 12 min. (men min. 2800 m, women min. 2200 m and for every additional 30 m + 1 b.) - max. 15 b. - test on the rules of athletics - max. 20 points, - athletic practice (organization and decision-making of competitions, management of student training groups, TUL representation at HAM, ČAH) - max. 15 b. - active participation in classes - min. 80% attendance
