Course content
1. Introduction with environment 2.-3. Object oriented programming concept 4.-5. Visual components and there properties and events practiced in EditBox, Panel and Button components 6.-8. Image and its properties Canvas and Picture, Timer and numbers randomizing 9. Image, Usage of RGB colour system 10. GroupBox, RadioGroup, RadioButton and CheckBox usage 11.-12. Memo, RichEdit properties comparison, simple text editor Advanced text editor with menu, usage of Dialogs Components run-time generating 13.-14. Applications with run time generated components Exception types and run - time errors Introduction of user environment design Short introduction into software engineering, project analyzing and design

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
Course gives students well formed basic overview on available programming languages and methods for various platforms. Students will create their programs in various programming languages to obtain overview on their abilities, advantages and disadvantages. Particularly, DELPHI, ANSI C and PHP (developer environment APACHE, PHP5 and Mandrake Linux) will be used.
Graduates from this course will obtain good knowledge of the field of visual program development
