Learning outcomes
Assignment of the design task will be brought by students from the subject Parts and mechanisms of machines I. In the framework of exercises solves the spatial arrangement of the clutch, the connecting gearbox and the belt or chain transmission. The aim is dimensional, strength optimization of the results of calculations from Machine Parts and Mechanisms. Creating a 3D assembly of transfers including their storage, drawing from 3D assembly, production documentation of 3 selected parts, computational report. Content of the exercise: 1. Introduction to Pro / E and Pro / Standard parts and tooth calculations, tooth modeling. 2. Comparison with catalogs, gearing, optimization and minimization of the best materials. 3. Generation of teeth, assembly in space. 4. Assembly check, wheel relief, shaft design, design of approximate bearing dimensions. 5. Calculation of bearings, design. 6. Tapered roller bearings - calculation with decomposition of forces on the cone. 7. Inserting the bearings into the assembly - assembling the shafts. 8. Check transmission assembly. 9. Creation of the gearbox, division and layout of dividing planes for bevels. 10. Gearbox Assembly - Bolts, Seals, Shifting. 11. Shaft control, cyclic fatigue, notched toughness. 12. Insert and place the gear unit into the top assembly. 13. Connection of other gears - belts, chains. 14. Final report, surrender.
Students will gain knowledge in the course in accordance with the aim and content.
