Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Laboratory work, Lecture, Practicum
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 80 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge in organic chemistry and biochemistry, and the biochemical element will also be emphasized in the teaching of organic chemistry. The biochemistry part focuses on the understanding of the structure and function of biomacromolecules and also deals with the principles of basic processes occurring in cells. The knowledge gained in lectures will be deepened during the exercises and laboratories.
