Course content
|
Courses: 1. Basic terms and categories of high functional textiles, comprehension of functional elements in structure of textile material - technological possibilities. 2. Utilization of structure and properties of textile fibres for assurance of specific function of textile. 3. Application of high functional and intelligent textiles for sport and leisure time. 4. Application of high functional and intelligent textiles in health service. 5. Application of high functional and intelligent textiles for protective work clothing (clean rooms, medical personnel, extreme climatic conditions, etc.). 6. Application of high functional and intelligent textiles for engineering (geo-tech, agro-tech, textiles for road transport, railage, air traffic, sea transport). 7. Other high functional and intelligent textiles, multifunctional textiles. Textile electronics, clothing computers. Practice: Seminary work focused on exercise of selected types of high functional textile with using of information resource and www.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on performance High-functional and adaptive materials and structures designed textile processing. It deals with the explanation of the basic principles and potential applications in the apparel and technical textiles. Student prepares the innovative new product design solutions using new advanced technologies or processes. The solution must include a survey of trends in the field, motion of the material in the line of fiber - yarn - Fabric - 3D design. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the methodology of solving a professional task solving and submit a written and oral report. These are also familiar with the formal requirements for this type of work. The aim is to bring the student to successful thesis defense.
Students orientate in the field of high-functional and inteligent textiles.

Knolwedge from subjects: Spinning, Knitting, Weaves Structure and Properties.
