Course content
|
Exercises: 1. The assignment of topics reflects the following possibilities: a) free conception of the artist b) author's solution according to the assignment of a specific contracting authority 2. - 3. Presentation of the topic in pictorial and textual form. Use of open sources. Designing in the first phase. 4. - 5. Design phase, preparation of various variants of shape, material, ergonomic and technological solution. 6. Concretization of technological solutions. Consultation part. 7. - 11. Realization of the designed collection / sculpture / object / installation in the selected technology. 12. - 13. Documentation in the form of a portfolio, which is an integral part of the thesis (continuous defense, photo documentation from the course of implementation and photo documentation, description of production technology, calculation). 14. Presentation of production results.

Learning outcomes
|
This course is taught in the form of studio teaching. There is four material orientations: textiles, clothing, glass, jewelry in this couorse. The assignment of the semester work is based on the topic of the diploma thesis, which reflects the author's free concept or solution of a specific one contracting authority (company, institution, cultural and creative industries). It includes an update of the theoretical analysis of the given issues, analysis of inspiration and theoretical intent of the work. The solution applies to: artistic skill, technological and craft knowledge, usability of new available materials and technologies, experimental approach to forms and methods design creation, current possibilities of presentation and media communication, communication with associated professions, aspect sustainability.
Presentation of the created work on the given topic and its defense before the art commission.

Oral exam, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Interview, Oral presentation of self-study
Credit: active participation in seminars. Exam: presentation and defense of the results of studio work.
