Course content |
Course programme : 1. Notions design, decorating, motive, design, ornament; examples of changes in ornament pattern and textile design in historical, cultural and social connections. 2. - 3. Historical survey aureate motives - primeval ages, antiquity, modern period to the end of the 19th century. 4. Historical survey aureate motives - 20th century. 5. Motives used in the applied art - at the prezent. 6. Decorating and its basic elements; intent on shapes, forms, fabric and colour scheme. 7. Specificity of textile patterned; repeatting like the way to enrichment of textile design variations. 8. Stripes; historical connection, modification. 9. Dots; historical connection, modification. 10. Pmegranate; historical connection, modification. 11. Paisley; historical connection, modification. 12. Folklorism; national symbols in the decorating and textile; historical connection, modification. 13. Camouflage patterns, mimic colouring, clouding; historical connection, modification. 14. Sports and merchandise trademarks. Exercises: Within the subject a student works on given thesis.
