Course content
Seminars (topics): 1. Conception of the assignment - the main goal and content of the diploma thesis. 2. The relationship between the thesis supervisor and the student. 3. Design of the main parts of the diploma thesis. 4. Methods of diploma thesis processing. The student gets acquainted with the chosen topic and prepares the concept of the work. Preparatory work will be performed in order to verify whether the topic is suitable and solvable for both the professional and formal point of view. The student will prepare a presentation, which will be given at a seminar in front of a committee of academic staff - experts in the field.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the correct procedure for solving the diploma thesis within the study program. Students are explained the basic rules for processing professional texts and shaping the concept of work and are informed about the content and formal requirements of the final work and the way of their presentation. Students discuss solved topic with the thesis supervisor and are systematically guided to the correct solution of the assigned topic of the diploma thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Interview, Presentation of acquired knowledge via paper

Credit: Elaboration of a professional annotated search concerning the chosen topic, analysis of sources of inspiration. Processing of the obtained information in written form under the guidance of the supervisor and the consultant of the theoretical part of the work. Public presentation and defense of achieved partial results/outputs.
