Course content
Exercises: 1. Explanation of the concept of fashion illustration (clothing design studies, fashion drawing, clothing sketch), examples of solutions. 2. The issue of fashion illustration, concrete examples from the world of clothing and the tendency of development, historical context. 3. Drawing of textile materials, emphasis on their texture and structure. 4. Textile materials in composition, search for contrasts. Drawing quality materials. 5. Drawing studies of textile materials arranged on a figure. Their compositions, capturing their specific aesthetic effects. 6. Free drawing composition study of textile material on figure. Movement variants of the composition. 7. Color representation of textile materials, colored drawing, composition study, texture and its interaction. 8. Colored drawing of textile composition arranged on mannequin, shape and color exaggeration, emphasis on expression quality of composed materials. 9. Colored clothing study, shape and color exaggeration of movement variation. 10. Expansion of artistic expression means, collage, structural layering, emphasis on detail, movement, perspective view. 11. Own individual approach to the expression of clothing composition, creation of a comprehensive series of clothing illustrations. 12. Individual theme expressed by clothing illustration emphasizing art intention. 13. Working in computer programs, creating a collection of collections emphasizing the conceptual intention. 14. Prezentace pro módní design ilustrace, offering collection expressing the author's intention.

Learning outcomes
During the course, the student will learn to draw a figure in a perspective shortcut by stylized drawing, adapted for expressing author's intentions and design of clothes. Figure study (pencil, pen, brush, digital technology), choice of scale and proportion, clothing hyperbole emphasizing silhouettes, composition of clothing on figure, drawing of clothing line. Expression of textile materials by drawing, their use in drawing clothes, color expression, artistic abbreviation. Introduction with procedures for creation of fashion drawing, assignment and conception of the task, inspiration, sketch, design, technical design, technical drawing, drawing of the patterncut variations, various types of artistic fashion drawing. Creating a database of ideas and suggestions. Personal style presentation.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.

Skill acquired of drawing in previous studies.

Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Oral presentation of self-study

Credit: Active participation in seminars, completion of semestral tasks. Exam: individual presentation of the work during the final evaluation.
