Course content
|
Exercises: 1. Interior design, history of the field, nature of the field, overlap, personality of designer. 2. Construction and its elements, terminology, organization of space, continuity of communications, orientation. 3. Floor plan, layout, scale, symbols, ergonomics of fixtures and functional bonds. 4. - 5. Work with space-composition, matter, tectonics, rhythm, optical patterns of perception. 6. - 7. Material, color, texture, contrast in interior design, history excursion, visual styles. 8. Lighting, audiovisual equipment, ZTI, wiring, heating in the interior. 9.-10. Presentation of individual semester tasks, discussion. Assignment of semester project: Analysis of my living space, room layout 1:50, presentation of chosen product assessment of its functional and aesthetic qualities, presentation of selected commercial space accent on evaluation and assessment of disposition qualities, aesthetic functions, furniture design style, structure, color, contrast.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on interior design. Students acquire comprehensive professional skills, knowledge and knowledge for adequate orientation in the field of residential architecture and design of furnishing articles. In a broader context, they cultivate their own opinion of functionally aesthetic design principles applied in the interior, both private and public. The tasks are processed individually or in a creative team, where the reality of cooperation in the real conditions of a creative "laboratory" of the interior studio is simulated.

|
Oral exam, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio
Credit: active participation in seminars, 100% of practical exercises. Exam: presentation and oral defense of the project.
