Course content
Exercise: 1. Semestral theme assignment for both, glasswork created through the melted glass technology, and for jewellery, as a theme to be expressed in the form of the jewellery structure and fastener. 2.- 3. Proposal designing according to the specifics of various techniques and materials and according to the demands of the process of melted glass technology and jewellery principles of fastening. 4. Design development for the glasswork and particular kinds of fastening. 5.- 7. Sculpting the final shape of the glasswork in a ratio 1 : 1. Appropriate technology and material selection for the jewellery fastener. 8.- 10. Mould production, casting and mould purification. Mechanism and system solution for the fastener in accordance to its function. 11.- 13. Realization of the glasswork - glass melting and glass refinement. Assembly and completion of the final shapes of the jewellery. 14. Documentation in the form of printed portfolio. Preparation for the final presentation at the semestral exhibition and the final evaluation.

Learning outcomes
Overall process of a spatial artistic glass object creation, with a particular emphases on its details and final utilization. Designing and realization of jewellery and accessories with a complex composition and a specific focus on the structure and texture of the chosen material. The final collection is produced by its author. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.
Prerequisites
Professional knowledge and skills acquired in previous studies. The condition is a fulfilled subject Practice of Designing of Glass and Jewelery 1 (KDE/PNS1).

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities

Credit: active participation in seminars. Examination: submission and defense of semestral work before the art committee at the final semestral exhibition.
