Learning outcomes
The course develops the basic principles of designing textile and fashion. The fabric is designed with an emphasis on the weave structure made up of basic weaving and knitting bindings. The fabric is made on hand looms and knitting machines. Thus, the expression means is a surface relief and a binding effect, in combination with a material structure. The design and implementation of the fashion collection is based on a complex design construction, using the color or textile design of the fabric throughout the collection. Emphasis is placed on the overall conception of the collection, including the material, with the possibility of using the author's realized fabric. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.
