Course content
Exercises: 1. Definition of the topic, study of inspiration and profiling of own ideological assignment. 2. Correction of art designs and individual concepts, proposal of technological preference. 3. Presentation of ideological assignment in the form of inspirational moodbords. 4. Consultation with guarantors of technological focus, try to convert art designs into textile materiál. 5. Experimental creation in the technological background of the textile fakulty. 6. Consultations on first implementations. The consultations contribute to the improvement of the capturing of the artistic intent by textile technology. 7. Definition of one creative process, processing into the final output in the material and proposal of its use. 8. Processing suitable adjustment of textile realizations, inspirational banner and processing appropriate presentation of outputs. 9. Final banner and portfolio. 10. Submission of experimental outputs and presentations. Defense of the whole concept of work before the commission. Presentation of ideological assignment, realization in material, adjustment and also designing suitability of using textile. Part of the exercise are two inspirational lectures. The exercises include two inspirational lectures. These are related to the thematic content of the art task and to the possibilities of using non-traditional techniques of creating and joining textile materials. Further consultations with experts on individual technologies.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the realization of the creative intention. New technologies, new materials and unconventional joining of structures are used in the creation. The concept of work should be based on the experience and knowledge gained during study. The effort is to link the disciplines across the faculty of textile. A fundamental need is to define one creative process or unconventional technology. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.

Professional knowledge acquired in previous studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Interview, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Credit: participation in common proofreading and recommended presentation for given assignment, activity in sample realization in textile workshops, suitable presentation of semester work results, participation in semestral exhibition. Examination: fulfillment of all semester assignments according to given schedule, oral presentation and defense of semester project.
