Course content |
Lectures: 1. Introduction to design responses to students' attitudes to this issue. 2. Definition of the concept of design to other branches of the fine arts. 3. Relations of the design and its perception of the company.The history of the fine arts and schools. 4.- 9. An overview of the development of design. 10. Compositional and proportional relationships. 11. Color and principles its perception. 12. Color and design. 13. Textile and clothing design from the perspective of history. 14. Current trends in product design. Exercises: 1. Introduction to the subject, the guidelines for the execution of the exercise. 2. Individual visit of the Museum of North Bohemia Liberec, reflections on the ongoing exhibition 3. Debate over the visit in SM in Liberec, the spatial use of paper-relief 4. Continuation of the spatial use-paper sculpture 5. Textile relief-with an emphasis on plasticity-the fabric without pattern 6. Textile relief-a combination of differently patterned fabrics 7. Textile sculpture from a single coloured fabric the fabric without pattern 8. Textile inlay on thematic. 9. Design theme for textile printing and its sorting. 10. Design clothing composition. 11. Learning outcomes |
The definition of the concept of design in relation to other fields of art. Sociological relations of design and perception of the company. The historical context of the development of art, the principles of the School of Fine Arts and Design. Overview of developments in the various stages of design, development guidance and insight into current trends. Looking to the compositional relationships in the visual arts, the proportional relation in relation to man, the equilibrium in the balance of image area. Mass relations in space. Color, principles of perception, variations of color and compositional relationships. Construction of the format art composition in relation to the ideological typing. Textile and clothing design from the perspective of history, its relationship to stylistic period, the development of mass production of textiles and clothing. The development of mass production of textiles and its relationship to the pattern and the possibility of new production technologies in connection with non-traditional materials.
Within this subject student gains trheoretic and practical experience from his field of study. |
