Course content
Exercises: 1. Assignment of semester topic. Teaching is focused on creative design of graphic design of textile printing (large-format printing, digital print pattern) and fashion composition from pattern-free textile material. The subject of the garment composition is the creation of a drapping on a tailor's dummy, a form of calico study. (Summary of assignment: Enclosed composition, variations, art geometry, textured fabrics - practical weaving exercises, simple fashion garment compositions, drapping on a tailor's dummy, finding out the pattern cut variations, emphasis on art design). 2. Research of the topic, introduction to textile printing technology, material tests, basic conception of the shape of clothing - concept, proportions, detail, area, relationship between individual pieces. 3. Sketches, choice of colors for textile printing. Fashion silhouette and elaborate detail. 4. Design of textile and fashion collection, realization of material samples. 5. - 12. Realization of printed textiles, fashion collection from pattern-free textile material. 13. Documentation. 14. Presentation at semester exhibition.

Learning outcomes
The course is based on the basic principles of designing both fabric textiles and fashion. The design of the pattern, elaboration and rapport as the essence of textile design, is applied to the screen printing and digital printing of the fabric. The principles of fashion creation as a sculptural object are supported in the design by eliminating the influence of color and pattern, fashion as architecture. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.
Prerequisites
Professional knowledge acquired in previous studies. The condition is a fulfilled subject Basics of textile and clothing design (KDE/ZAN1).

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities

Credit: active participation in seminars, presentation of semester assignments. Examination: submission and defense of semester work in front of the committee at the final semester exhibition.
