Course content
|
Lectures and seminars: 1) The rules of scientific research. Ethics of scientific work. 2) Significance and issues of nursing research. How to read a research study. 3) phase of the research project. Preparation of research. 4) Quantitative and qualitative methodologies and techniques. Questionnaire. Observation. Focus group. The role of hypotheses. 5) The sample. Representativeness, validity, reliability. 6) Characteristics of the statistical point of view. descriptive statistics. 7) The processing of qualitative data. 8) Presentation and dissemination of results.

|
Course develops professional competences. It helps to understand meaning of scientific approach toward nursing.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
