Lecture contents: 1. Development of conception of quality, quality definitiv, history, problems rewiev, terminology. 2. Assumptions about data, normality, outliers, autocorrelation. 3. Variability of processes, models, diagnostics. 4. Acceptance sampling - types, operating characteristic, hypergeometric, binomial and Poisson distribution. 5. Design of Acceptance sampling. 6. Control charts - general aspects. 7. Shewhart control charts. 8. CUSUM and EWMA control charts 9. Process capability indexes 10. Loss function, quality improvment, optimization 11. Analysis of variance - one and two factor 12. Design of experiments 13. Analysis of response surfaces

Learning outcomes
|
Basic principles of on-line and off-line quality control and application for textile industry. Methods of compex quality evaluation and expression of organoleptic properties (hand) dealing with consumer evaluation of quality. Basic principles of Taguchi method for "off line" quality evaluation. Special methods as EVOP, ANOM and DOE for quality control.
