Course content
Project preparation and management is an introduction to the complex issues of project creation and management (product and service). Learning outcomes of the course unit the subject deals with the phase of project initiation and preparation. It includes basic definitions and system processes such as time, cost, personnel, etc. Course programme Lecture 1. Introduction and fundamental terms 2. The Method of Project Management 3. Starting and planning Project Management. 4. Phases and life cycle of Project Management 5. Project Structure. 6. Project Time Management. 7. Project Cost Management. 8. Project Risk Management 9. Project Human Resource Management 10. Project management styles. Project team. 11. Project Critical Communication. 12. Project Control and Closure 13. Project Communication and Information Distribution. 14. Project Software.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Project teaching, Problematic methods (research and exploration), Group consultation, Lecture, E-learning, Students' portfolio, Task-based study method, Students' self-study

Learning outcomes
Project Management is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. The aim of the course is to teach students the skills needed to manage a project.
Creative Thinking. Team work. Application of knowledge from work in CAD system. Simple design and principles of measuring instruments construction.

Basic knowledge of CAD system
