Monological explanation (lecture, presentation, briefing), Observation, Laboratory work, Group consultation
  • Class attendance - 84 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
A student, who completes the subject TZ2, is a textile expert in terms of knowledge of textile goods - can identify and name the final textile product (the goods), can perform its analysis and in the final product identify the basic structural elements, which are important from point of view its properties and use.
Students can identify and name the final textile product - the goods (woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwovens textiles). Can perform basic analysis of the final product and identify the characteristic elements that are decisive for its description, properties and applications. The student receives training through catalogs (covering a wide range of real samples of fabrics) in practical experience in hand and visual characteristics. Emphasis is also placed on the correct labeling of textile products - material composition, symbols maintenance. Students are also acquainted with the basic laws relating to consumer protection.
