Course content
The course is taught modularly, which allows also an inclusion of external lecturers - experts from practice - into a teaching according to the focus of individual modules. Description of the subject modules (the division of the course into modules is solved proportionally): Block 1: Project Management (doc. Klára Antlová, Ph.D.) Block 2: Entrepreneurship versus employment (doc. Petra Rydvalová, Ph.D.) Block 3: Financial literacy of an entrepreneur (Ing. Martina Černíková, Ph.D.) Block 4: Marketing in a broader context (Ing. Jitka Burešová, Ph.D.) Block 5: Trade (sale, purchase) and business negotiations (Ing. Jaroslav Demel, Ph.D.) Final block - finalization

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to equip students of the 2nd year of the bachelor's study program with the necessary knowledge and competencies to manage their transition to graduate practice, either entrepreneurial or corporate. The graduates of the course will gain a basic awareness of business and corporate activities, are able to take an independent approach to working with tasks and problems, use the project / entrepreneurial way of solving and thinking. They are able to present and defend their ideas, develop them into a simple Business Model, a project. They have a basic idea of how to build a properly composed team to solve a business problem, how to manage it, or how to play certain roles in it. They also focus on how to set up the identity of a team or company, to whom and how to offer and sell own product or service. They can prepare themselves for business negotiations, lead them, take into account intercultural differences, if partner is a foreigner / member of a different culture.
