Individual study oriented to the topics of thesis.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the following problem areas: Metrological principles of fibers, yarn and fabrics evaluation. Models of errors propagation, indirect measurements, uncertainties and analysis of univariate samples. Calibration and basic models, special regression methods. Comparison of two and more devices, analysis of variance. Hand and appearance evaluation, ordinal and nominal data treatment. Image analysis application in the textile metrology. Fibrous mixtures, multivariate data. Testing methods and statistical techniques for evaluation of fibers, yarns and fabrics quality.
