Course content

Content: - Metrological principles of fibers, yarns and fabrics evaluation. - Models of error propagation, indirect measurement, uncertainty and analysis of one-dimensional data. - Analysis of complex experiments, simulation procedures (Bootstrap). - Exploratory analysis of data - Calibration and corresponding basic models, special regression procedures. - Statistical comparing two or more devices. - Analysis of variance. - Evaluation of hand and appearance, processing of ordinal and nominal data. - Fiber mixtures, multidimensional data. - Test methods and statistical procedures for the quality evaluation of yarn fibers and fabrics

Learning outcomes
|
Main aim is to prepare students for active working in the areas of advanced testing and comprehensive evaluation of experimental results.
The student will acquire detailed knowledge of the subject in the area according to the approval of the Branch Board

Oral exam
oral examination before a committee appointed by the Dean. Written work in the recommended range of 20 pages.
