Learning outcomes
The goal of this course is an improvement of physics background that was acquired during previous bachelor study. Students will receive appropriate information on physical relations of natural and technical phenomena including modern textile technologies. The course is focused on legal and practical metrology, problems related to quality control of final product. In first part of the semester are students introduced in national and international system of metrology with relation to measurement of optical properties of textiles and solids in general. In second part of semester are students involved in problems related to calibration and transfer of calibration in colorimetry, measurement of electrical and thermal properties of textiles. The Important aspect of this course is usage of uncertainty and its properties.
