Course content
Completion of experiments, evaluation of obtained information and data, deeper processing of the given issue, formulation of conclusions and comparison with existing knowledge and possibly models. Finalization the diploma work and its submission. Students discuss the solved topic with the supervisor of diploma thesis, they are systematically led to the correct solution of the given topic of diploma thesis.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Laboratory work, Independent creative and artistic activities, Individual consultation, Students' portfolio
  • Preparation for laboratory testing; outcome analysis - 50 hours per semester
  • Final processing work - 60 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the final elaboration of the work and its submission. Emphasis is given to deeper processing of the research problem, completion of experiments, evaluation of obtained results and data, determination of conclusions and comparison with existing knowledge and possibly models. Students discuss the topic with the supervisor, they are systematically guided to the correct solution of the thesis topic.
Student is able to work up given theme in the technical field.
Prerequisites
Theoretical knowledge acquired during study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Interview, Presentation of student research activity

Credit: Deeper elaboration of selected problems, processing of measured data, completion of the work in written form under the supervisoin of the supervisor and consultant. Submission of diploma work. Public defense of achieved results in the form of power-point presentation.
