Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Practicum

Learning outcomes
|
This subject expands student's knowledge already gained at a secondary school. It includes: an advanced work with a hospital information system, medical databases and acquiring medical information by means of computer technology.
Students will orientate in a hospital information system and will be able to operate it, they will be able to work with documentation.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knewledge of computer operating, text handling and formatting, data processing.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills
80% attendance at practical lessons. Elaboration of individual tasks during pracice. The part-time form of study have to present a semestral work.
