Course content
Structure: 1. Introduction into global business negotianons questions 2. General trends of business activities, types, e-tailing 3. Development tendencies of EU retail companies, strategies 4. Retailing in Germany and in France 5. Retailing in Great Britain, Netherlands and Belgium 6. Retailing in Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal 7. Retailing in Austria, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary 8. Retailing in Finland, Denmark, Ireland and Baltics 9. retailing in the Czech Republic 10. Final plenary discussion

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with specific particularities of retails. There will be mentioned above all terms like wholesaler, retail, negotiator; commerce sense and function; current business trends; retails not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad (especially in the EU); etc.
100% attendence at lessons. Seminar paper of at least 10 pages. The form has to correspond to the Dean´s Measure No. 5/2018 at the Faculty of Economics, Technical University in Liberec. The seminar paper has to be acknowledged and defended. The final test has to be passed with at least 60 %.
Prerequisites
Completion of Business Administration.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment

Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme. Developing knowledge in business issues; domestic and foreign. Progression of skills from logistics, strategic management, innovation and financing activities in business.
