Course content
1. Introducing into personal management. Activities of human resource management. 2. HR planning, strategic HR planning. 3. Job positioning and job description. 4. - 5. Recrutiment process of employees. 6. Selection process of employees. 7. Induction process. 8. Reward managemetn, motivation, benefits, trends in remunaration. 9. Learning and development of employees. 10. Evaluation of employees. 11. Information technologies and personal management. 12. Personal well-being. 13. Employer branding and HR marketing. 14. Employee dismissals.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 45 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 31 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 10 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with analysis of the human resources in the organization; to create in students' knowledge foundations for understanding of human resources in organizations; to discuss with students the qualities of individuals which are relevant for their working activities in the company.
Student will be able to: - define theoretically activities human resource management - understand techniques and principles of selection proces, training, evaluation, remuneration and replacement of employees; - practiclly use tools applied in human resource management; - explain new trends in activities HRM.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Participation in seminars (PMT 2 absence, PEM 1 absence), solving of ongoing tasks (max. 20 points), midterm test. Score from exercises - 35 points. Total points for the course - max. 100 points, min. number 60. Obligatory attendance at least 2 out of 4 invited transmissions. written exam part-time students - 1 teaching consultation compulsory
