Course content
Content 1. Introducing into personal management. History of personal activities in a company, main personnel activities. 2. Personnel capacities planning, staffing. 3. Selection and recruitment process of staff. 4. - 5. Payroll, system of remuneration, Czech labour market and EU labour market. 6. Contractual obligations, Labour code. 7. Social communication. Basic items and communication process. Personal management and communication skills. 8. Personnel performance 9-10. Training, methods of training. 11. Pre-retirement advisory work, outplacement. 12-13. Information technologies and personal management. 14. Employee career development.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 45 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 10 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 31 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with analysis of the human resources in the organization; to create in students' knowledge foundations for understanding of human resources in organizations; to discuss with students the qualities of individuals which are relevant for their working activities in the company.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Participation in seminars (max. 2 absence), solving of ongoing tasks (max. 20 points), midterm test. Score from the seminar - 35 points. Total points for the course - max. 100 points, min. number 60. Obligatory attendance at least 2 out of 4 invited transmissions. written exam
