Course content
1. Innovation opportunities and strategies 2. TRIZ methods 3. Creating knowledge networks on organisations 4. Testing and detecting problems 5. Management of innovation processes 6. Communication in knowledge networks 7. Using ICT tools for communication and sharing experiences 8. Principles of electronic document administration 9. Case studies - successful projects

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Lecture, Seminár, E-learning, Students' portfolio
  • Preparation for exam - 20 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 27 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 15 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 84 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 5 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce Ph.D. students to various supports of technical creative work (E. g. brainstorming, project management, knowledge management) in the innovative process, including the application of the system approach in the stage of analysis of the solved problem. In order to formulate appropriate innovative strategies (WHAT, WHY, HOW and HOW to deal with the issue). Case studies will demonstrate successful projects of renowned organizations.

Combined examination, Oral presentation of self-study

Doctoral students will work out and present the term/semestral project.
