Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
Learning outcomes
Students will learn the main concepts and problem areas of social security law and labor law, they will be introduced to the functioning of the above mentioned legal sectors in the Czech law together with the context of the social work and the social policy.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme. Students will gain competence to apply knowledge from this course in practice.
Prerequisites
Students don't need special knowledge or visit other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Oral presentation of self-study

Exam: written. Test from subject content with a success rate of at least 60%. Combined Studies: Participation in the meetings is compulsory. In the case of non-participation the student will prepare a seminar paper covering 5 pages of pure A4 text on a topic to be entered by the lecturer. The work will be submitted within the specified deadline. Its proper elaboration and submission is, together with the seminar paper, which is given to all students, a condition for granting the credit before the exam.
