Course content
Exercises: 1) Basic concepts. Characteristics, history, systematics of content and basic division of combats. Organization of exercises. 2) Basic agility, elements of movement in self-defense. Preparatory combats, combat games. Self-defense tactics. 3) Grips, freeing from grips. 4) Choking, defense against choking. 5) Levers, defense against leverage. 6) Strikes, defense against strikes. 7) Fighting in a stance, tactics of fighting in a stance. 8) Fighting on the ground, tactics of fighting on the ground. 9) Defense against an armed attacker (pistol, knife, stick). 10) Throws, defeats and pulls. 11) Sensitive areas on the human body. 12) Defense against simultaneous attack by multiple attackers, assistance to the attacked. 13) Selected elements of professional self-defense. 14) Fulfillment of credit requirements.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to enable the paramedic to deepen the movement skills of self-defense, which will enable him to successfully manage the assigned task and increase his personal safety
The student can apply skills in order to be able to respond flexibly, automatically and effectively to the situation and conditions during field work in rescue practice.
Prerequisites
Motor abilities focused on the age of students.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Course credit requirements: Active participation at the seminars (attendance at least 75 %), demonstration of selected motoric skills.
