Lectures: 1. Introduction to the issue, system concept of sports training. 2. Structure of sports training. Stress, recovery, regeneration. 3. Components of sports training - fitness, technical, tactical and psychological training. 4. Long-term concept - stages of sports training. 5. Planning and records - training cycles. 6. Basics of talent selection. 7. Racial differences in sports training. Seminars: 1. Physiological bases of training, principle of supercompensation. 2. Health protection, sports examinations, stress tests. 3. Load size - intensity zones, overreaching, overtraining. 4. Performance vs. efficiency, differences in training planning for individual and team sports. 5. Training records - General training indicators and Special training indicators. Examples of evaluation of training units. 6. Specifics of sports training for children and youth. 7. Credit test.
