Course content
1. Introduction to Vector Graphics and Adobe Illustrator - Basic tools, drawing curves and shapes 2. Working with Colors (Illustrator) - Colors, gradients, negative space 3. Creating Logos and Icons (Illustrator) - Designing a simple logo and icons 4. Basics of Layout and Working with InDesign - Document setup, typographic grid, text layout 5. Typography and Print Design (InDesign) - Combining text and graphics 6. Advanced Vector Graphics (Illustrator) - Effects, layers, and masking 7. Poster and Print Material Design (Illustrator + InDesign) - Visual layout for various formats 8. Interactive Publications and Export (InDesign) - Exporting for print and digital media, interactive elements 9. Field Trip: Visit to a Graphic Design Studio - Getting to know the professional graphic design process 10. Advanced Layout and Publishing Techniques (InDesign) - Creating multi-layered documents and magazines 11. Using AI Tools in Illustrator and InDesign - Automating design tasks and efficient creation 12. Final Project Work - Basic Logo Manual - Consultations and individual creation of a publication or portfolio 13. Presentation of Print Materials and Preparation for Digital Platforms - Optimization for print and online formats 14. Final Evaluation and Project Presentations - Project presentations, feedback, and evaluation
