Student's performance analysis
Knowledge and the ability to argue are assessed through discussions held directly at the sites of installations and exhibitions, in immediate and direct contact with artworks, environments, architecture, and public space. The ability to work with acquired knowledge is evaluated through a final essay. Essay topics are announced in advance and are based on the exhibitions and artistic projects visited during the semester. Both the content and the formal aspects of the essay are evaluated (use of references, structure of the text, argumentation skills, use of examples, authenticity and readability of the text, ability to use appropriate academic vocabulary, etc.). A minimum of 75% attendance at lectures and excursions is required for the essay to be accepted. The required study literature for passing the course is based on the current selection of catalogues, monographs, press releases, and other materials published in connection with specific exhibitions visited during the semester. The choice of literature is therefore directly related to the exhibitions and artistic projects that students encounter within the course. The listed titles serve as a general foundation for the subject.
