Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the doctoral student with the theoretical context of contemporary art in the field of new media and post-internet. The course is interdisciplinary, cyberculture is viewed from the positions of philosophy, aesthetic strategies, media and visual studies. Art is presented due to its intermediate character. The works of contemporary artists are confronted in the form of case studies, with regard to the global artistic operation. The graduate of the course will master the orientation in contemporary audiovisual art, get acquainted with the currents of thought that can interpret specific works, learn the reflection of their own artistic and theoretical practice.
