The course has a fixed structure. In the given semester responds to the latest events on the domestic and world art scene. The course focuses on the manifestations of contemporary visual arts and artistic realizations in public space. In the form of concise lectures and guided tours, it focuses on the basic directions of the development of world visual art (post-conceptual, video, action, new gender art, public art, new painting, computer art, etc.). At the same time, the emphasis is placed on immediate contact with works of art and contemporary Czech art. Its prerequisite is knowledge of the development of modern and avant-garde art of the twentieth century, which largely shaped the form of contemporary art. The result will be knowledge of the main stages of art development from some manifests and various proclamations.
