Course content

Learning outcomes
The course has a fixed structure. In the given semester responds to the latest events on the domestic and world art scene. The course focuses on the manifestations of contemporary visual arts and artistic realizations in public space. In the form of concise lectures and guided tours, it focuses on the basic directions of the development of world visual art (post-conceptual, video, action, new gender art, public art, new painting, computer art, etc.). At the same time, the emphasis is placed on immediate contact with works of art and contemporary Czech art. The program will also include a criticism of art by its own means, with a special emphasis on the importance of Dadaism in the context of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
To grasp knowledge of common sources of contemporary art and architecture.
