Course content
|
Continuous oral presentation of term works, simultaneously with a brief overview of the history of architecture (Greek and Roman architecture; Romanic style; Gothic style; Renaissance style; Baroque style), the relation between architecture and climate (exotic architecture) and comprehension of selected texts (the contemporary architecture).

Learning outcomes
|
The objective is the ability to find technical information, comprehension of technical text, verbal and written communication in the field and the presentation of own work. The subject is predominantly led in English and places great emphasis on technical terminology in connection with the occupation of an architect in the form of thematic and vocabulary exercises. Students are divided into two groups according to to the level of their knowledge of general English.
The student will present his/her own project in English and attend the presentations of other students in the group. Also, the students will study professional texts in English consisting of an overview of historic architectural styles.

The basic knowledge of English, attendance, oral presentation of a term work, which was submitted at the end of the subject Project Presentation in English 1.
