Course content
- attendance at a minimum of ten lectures in a term; for graduates of secondary building schools, attendance at a minimum of seven lectures is required - writing 2 tests and achieving a minimum score of 60 % in the final test - submission of the following work: A4 - block capitals of a uniform size, any text A3 - Ground plan and a cross section view of the classroom

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Analysis of building and division of supporting structure (subgrade, surveying, cuting, foundation, insulation, vertical supporting struckture, materials, stacks and vents, horizontal structures and their individual parts, connecting structures, stress analysis of staircases, principles and standards, railings, lifts, roofing of different mateial types). Non supporting structures (facades, partitions, soffits). Rules of project documentation processing in preparation prior realisation phase of structure, principals and procedures of technical drawing (individual phases of drawing, building licence, for realisation of contruction, documentation of implementation) ground plans, sectional views, views, layouts.
The student will understand the basic segments of building activities. He will able to use fundamental professional terminology and methods of engineering drawing.

Oral exam
