I. PHILOSOPHY AS A TRANSCENDENTAL QUESTION 1. Asking about the conditions of the possibility of experience and being as a guide to European philosophy. 2. Discovery of the question of general assumption- Plato 3. Discovery of the question of a particular being- Aristotle. 4. Conservative and revolutionary interpretation of ancient philosophy in relation to the issue of beauty. 5. Nietzsche's conception of the Dionysian principle and today's techno culture.6. Basic question of drama by Aristotle and Nietzsche. 7. Meaning of an ancient ritual and its reflections in the twentieth century (Viennese actionism). 8. One as a transcendental category. 9. Sensory reality and so-called MIMÉSIS. 10. Fullness and emptiness: Greek MÚSIKÉ and prose. The problem of modern musicality. 11. Metaphysics confronted with art, or is art a knowledge? 12. Art as a turn and a deviation: the position of an anonymous artist and an artist named. 13. Kant's philosophy formulates a transcendental question of beauty. 14. Nobility and beauty. Reflection in the twentieth century. Bibliography: The course is based on three areas of literature. The first one is read in seminars in examples and consists of basic classical writings. The second one serves as an accompaniment to lectures and consists of overview monographs of contemporary art and philosophical analyses of individual works of art and the direction of art. The third group contains writings for students' essays, it includes the problem of anarchism and artist revolt in the context of art history and social context.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Presentation of artistic and creative activities
During the term, students prepare a workshop paper. The credit is given based on an oral interview with a focus on the submitted paper and on the topics covered in lectures. This is followed by an oral examination.
