Lecture Topics: 1. Introduction to Managerial Techniques - basics of planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluation. 2. The Position of the Manager in an Organization - classical and project management, organizational culture. 3. Leadership Styles - the manager's interpersonal role and different approaches to leadership. 4. Teamwork - collaboration and team management, effective team roles. 5. Conflict Resolution - techniques and methods for resolving team conflicts. 6. Organizational Goals - how to effectively set and achieve organizational goals. 7. Planning in Management - steps and techniques for effective activity planning. 8. Employee Control and Evaluation - performance appraisal methods and control mechanisms. 9. Analytical Decision-Making Techniques - how to use data and analysis for decision-making. 10. Creative Decision-Making Techniques - innovative and creative approaches to problem-solving. 11. Motivation in Management - fundamentals of motivating employees. 12. Praise and Criticism - how to provide effective feedback. 13. Delegation of Tasks - the role of delegation in management, techniques, and approaches. 14. Practical Application of Managerial Skills - case studies and model situations.

Learning outcomes
|
The teaching is divided into four interconnected blocks with emphasis on synergy effect and practical usability of information: culture management (management of organizations, associations and institutions in the cultural sector), PR manager and art agencies (organizational goals, planning), motivation role of a manager in the field of culture (motivation, performance evaluation, delegation, coaching),marketing of culture (practical skill needed to master the role).
Pass out of the subject Management will help the students comprehend structure of crucial competence, whose adoption is presumption for efficient manager work.

Prerequisites
|
Interest in management and organizational functioning. Basic understanding of economic and social contexts. Ability to actively participate in discussions and teamwork. Willingness to develop communication and presentation skills. Openness to acquiring new methods and tools of managerial practice. Capacity for independent work with an emphasis on critical thinking and seeking synergistic effects.

Assessment methods and criteria

Didactic test
successfuly elaborate credit test hand over application work, which students work out in teams subsequently: - number of the application works will depend on number of taams - themes of the application works will order instructress pursuant to tuition with the students - each team will elaborate one theme, which will be tossed - outputs of application works will be presented by each team to others by public presentation
