1 Performance of profession I - Act on performance of profession, with the implementing profession-related regulations; comparison with foreign countries and performance of profession in the Czech Republic, office management, types and ways of project management, including comparison with foreign countries 2. Learning outcomes
Private law (civil and commercial law, self-employment, prices, accounting, taxes and duties, insurance, intellectual property rights - copyright, industrial property, other intellectual property rights). Public procurement and architectural tenders, law with a special focus on the performance of professions (especially the performance of selected and professional activities in construction and the provision of professional services, office management and contract management). The lectures are focused on the standards of professional performance and standards of professional documentation for the fields of activity of an architect/urban planner (spatial planning, design of buildings, interiors and garden and landscape architecture), engineering fields and the regime of independent performance of related activities (office and contract management).

The explanations are concentrated on the standards of professional performance and the standards of professional documentation for the basic disciplines of the work of an architect/rubanist (zoning and planning, designing structures, interiors, gardening and landscaping architecture) and on the mode of the actual performance of his/her activities (office and project management). The course includes preparation of a draft contract on preparation, negotiation and implementation of a construction design, or possibly a contract on preparation and negotiation of zoning and planning documents. This requires general knowledge of the profession, which is the content of the curriculum in the designing studios. The examination is taken in writing; if there are doubts, it is supplemented with an oral examination. The knowledge of the private law, proved in application in a specific substantive and legal situation (a business case) and the aspects related to performance of a profession
