Course content
The course is designed as a theoretical-practical unit. It acquaints students with anatomy structure and terminology structures and organ systems of the human body. The knowledge of anatomy is followed by physiology and pathology. Lectures: 1) Introduction and general anatomy 2) Skeletal system 3) Muscle system 4) Circulatory system 5) Respiratory system 6) Digestive system 7) Urinary system 8) Central nervous system 9) Sensory organs Exercises: 1) Skeletal system, connection of bones, muscular system 2) Circulatory and respiratory system 3) Digestive system 4) Urinary system, sex system of man and woman 5) Central nervous system, sensory organs 5) Respiratory system Study aids: Real 3D anatomical system: Virtual and interactive simulator and 3D teaching portal of anatomy and imaging methods used for virtual representation of real parts of the body 3D images made especially in CT or MR. Plastinate anatomical bodies and organs. Software: 1) Anatomy trainer SW 2) Interactive motion system 3) MUSCLE TRAINER 4) 3D series complete people. anat. (9CD) an @ tomedia - Tutorial: 1) Main Anatomy CD-ROM 2) CD-ROM Back 3) Belly CD-ROM 4) CD-ROM Pan 5) Chest CD-ROM Other: - an extensive set of 3-D anatomical models, - a set of specimens and bone models (assembled skeleton, male and female skull, neurocranium - base and calvarial skull, fetal skull, isolated skull, limb and axial skeleton bones), - temporal bone sections, casts of middle and inner ear, pelvimeter for measurement of pelvic external dimensions, - anatomical image boards. Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical-practical unit. It acquaints students with anatomy structure and terminology structures and organ systems of the human body. The knowledge of anatomy is followed by physiology and pathology.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Credit: - in order to obtain credit, the criterion of attendance and benefit must be met, - attendance criterion: participation in direct teaching is compulsory, attendance will be checked throughout the semester, absence will be excused only for serious and documented reasons, - test of success: students' knowledge will be checked during the semester by means of control tests from individual chapters of systematic anatomy; none of the tests may be graded 4; the failed test must be repeated. Exam: - only a student who has already been awarded a credit is enrolled in the examination, - the exam is oral, the student draws two questions; questions are known in advance and posted on the Internet throughout the semester, - during the exam, the student completes the verbal response by drawing anatomical diagrams and demonstrations on the assembled skeleton, - to pass the exam, none of the draws must be rated 4.
